Recently, it came to light that some users of Google's new Pixel 2
smartphones are complaining that their units are making 'clicking and
high pitch frequency sounds.' Well, the company has now provided an
update on the issue.
According to a Google employee, who is Community Manager at the
official Pixel forum, the .company has started investigating the problem
Orrin also noted that the problem - which he says affects only a
small number of Pixel 2 users - doesn't affect the performance of the
device in any way. As a temporary solution, he suggested turning off
NFC.
Sadly, there's currently no information on when the issue will be fixed and rolled out to the affected units.
