Microsoft's online store for the US has started selling Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8+
smartphones today. The two devices have been available in brick and
mortar Microsoft stores across the US since April, but for some reason
they're only now making their online debut.
Anyway, Microsoft is offering you a choice of unlocked models or ones
built for AT&T and Verizon. The unlocked S8 is priced at $724.99,
the Verizon model is $720, while AT&T's iteration will set you back
$749.99. The S8+ is $824.99 unlocked, $840 for Verizon, and $849.99 for
AT&T.
The Microsoft store will be offering $150 off the unlocked S8 and S8+
as part of its Black Friday promotion, so if you're after either of
those perhaps you should hold back some more and grab them then. It's
unclear if these units are Microsoft Edition
or not (those come with Cortana and Outlook preinstalled, while all
other S8 models ship with 'just' OneDrive, Skype, and Office built-in
from the Microsoft roster).
