Here’s another data point confirming that the OnePlus 5T will launch with Android 7.1 Nougat. GFX Bench, which offers more detailed info than Geekbench, has a bit more to share. For example, the unit tested had 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage – making it the pricier option.
Of that, 111GB is available to the user. Since this launches with
Nougat and not Oreo, chances are that the internal storage lacks the A/B
partitions to be used for seamless OS updates.
Anyway, the specs detected by the benchmark line up with expectations
– the OnePlus 5T will have a 6” screen with 2,160 x 1,080px resolution
and will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset.
OnePlus 5T specs by GFX Bench
The main camera on the rear is capable of 16MP photos and 4K videos while the selfie cam does 16MP stills and 1080p videos. A camera review (that was published too soon) shows that the dual camera redesign favors low-light over zoom.
